Today I read in a daily devotion that provided a beautiful treatment of the life of St. Joseph, the husband of Mary, the guardan of our Lord, Jesus and protector of the Holy Family. He is often considered one of the forgotten saints of the church, but his life of great dignity, purity and devotion to Jesus and obedience to God is one that should be especially inspirring this time of year.
